Eating Disorder Recovery Blog
Hi guys,
I’m a 24-year old fully recovered sufferer of Anorexia Nervosa Binge Purge subtype. I do educational/motivational speaking for an amazing Australian-based eating disorder awareness/education/resource service and I’m looking to create a blog (probably on Youtube, but I’m still sorting specifics!) within the next couple of months addressing topics such as:
- What is an eating disorder? (Including types of ed’s, breaking stereotypes, etc.)
- Recovery: Dealing with triggers and setbacks
- (for family and friends) Speaking to someone with an eating disorder
- What does “recovery” mean?
- Eating disorders: Myths and Misconceptions
- Recovery: I want to get better/I don’t want to get better
and so on!
I would love some input from anyone currently struggling with an eating disorder, those who care for someone with an eating disorder and even just anyone interested to learn more about eating disorders regarding the type of information you would like to see on the blog. I will write down and aim to address every one :)
I’m hoping to combine my own personal experience with some of the wonderful information and resources available through the organisation I volunteer for to create an informative, trigger-free resource that can be useful to sufferers, family/friends and those interested in education alike.
Please note that whilst I can discuss things that I found helpful/unhelpful during my journey and how I personally managed certain obstacles, I am unable to provide a direct set of steps on how to recover, as the journey to recovery is unique to every sufferer; I am also unable to distribute medical advice as that needs to be seen to by a qualified medical professional.
Love <3

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily so they can meet their quota of getting FREE FOOD donated every day to abused and neglected animals in their shelters.
It takes less than a minute (only about 15 seconds actually) to go to their site and click on the purple box titled, ‘Click Here to Give - it’s FREE!’. Every click gives about .6 bowls of food to sheltered dogs. You can also click daily!
Keep in mind that this does not cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. [via.]
Go to the website here.
doesn’t cost you a cent, just a click.
